Thank you so much! Am I right to say that in order to mount the FD lens to AE-1 you will need to undo this? I tried to mount the 50mm F1.8 FD lens after unlocking aperture ring but it won't mount. So I had to undo what you showed in the video in order to mount the lens back on. Now when I change aperture while mounted on AE-1 I don't see any effect in viewfinder nor by looking directly into lens. I guess the set aperture is engaged when I press the shutter button😅 Guess I will find put when I get the film developed😂

you never used the lubrication provided in the kit- there's a reason they give to you in the kit. You also clearly never read the included instructions, that tell you to lubricate the tool before putting the plug string through. I'm not surprised the kit didn't work properly for you since you didn't follow the provided instructions. This is a horrible "guide" to follow. I've gone through about 3-4 of these plugs on motorcycle and car without leaking air every few days, you messed up. I just wanted a visual reminder of what to do, I'm glad I actually read instructions though.

Thanks for the video. The part (same part number 0C30250SRV) I just got looks different. The screws are too big to fit into the apertures in the prongs. It looks like they want you to do a different type of connection, which may involve stripping the wires to fit their connector, but not sure.

hey bud, i'm gonna take this old boat to my mechanic for that prop shaft seal and the water pump seal. my transom saver won't keep the motor from turning while towing. any suggestions for keeping that motor stabilized while towing?

I recently took my Technics SL-QD2 turntable out of the closet after 20+ years. Had to do quite a bit of fiddling with it but it's working fine. Got a new stylus for the Shure rxp3 cartridge. Has a crack in the dust cover but still in one piece. I've seen acrylic one selling for $129! I don't need a new cover that bad. All my old albums are in bad shape. Warped, scratched, really not playable. So I just ordered the Beatles white album with the stereo remix to hear how the tt sounds. My home theater 5.1 receiver doesn't have a phono input and the cd and aux inputs don't supply enough power. Luckily I have a Pioneer stereo receiver in my computer/studio room with a phono input. Had to use ground wire which completely got rid of the hum. Looking forward to listening to vinyl again!

Any experience with the Champion open inverters? Looking at this model and champions similar size but champion has dual fuel for $480 at Walmart now. Or stepping up to next size up in both brands in the 5000w running range. Only need for back up 1-2 times a year in Houston for either hurricane or ice storm. Typically 1-3 days. Running 1 fridge, freezer, fish tank, some LED lights, tv/internet and possibly adding a window unit in the 1000-1200 watt range

well done, young man. had to replace my lower unit in that same 115 about 4yrs ago, changed the break-in oil after about 10hrs. i just had it in the shop for other stuff, went to change lower unit oil while on the trailer. oil outta the top 2 looked fine. oil out of the bottom plug came out milky white. know anybody who sells lower units for that old motor? I'll ask my favorite boat mechanic if there's a cheaper fix but i'm prepared for the worst (again).

I have the same model pressure washer and after draining the old oil, the machine took right around 0.6L of oil (less than a quart). I saw some others took 0.9L in the comments below. Mine was built in 2017 and also has electric start. Thanks for the video!
